Trinity - The paper and chair rail seen in this real estate before photo were both removed. All resulting wall damage was then repaired.
Getting Started
This room had been painted in a prior life with a green being used for under the chair rail. We pick up the rebuilding efforts here with putting together an appropriately tinted wall primer in order to provide a solid substrate to work from.

The drywall mud needed for these repairs was fairly
substantial and it did require more than one pass.
Finished Result
Matching surrounding wall textures and "hiding" where an old chair rail had once been is not as easy as it looks on YouTube videos.
New color is called "Lotus Flower". Satin sheen.
